The Studio Art Program—formerly known as the Gallery/Studio Program—offers fun and challenging art-making classes for ages 6 to 96. Be inspired by professional teaching artists, discuss artworks in our exhibitions and collections, develop skills and techniques, and create your own art using new and traditional materials. Each semester ends with a student exhibition in our Education Gallery!
All levels of experience are welcome.
See our teen programs below. We also offer classes for kids and adults. Questions? Email us at studio.art@brooklynmuseum.org.

Drawing: Dazzling Figures
Saturdays, 1:30–3:30 pm
Learn to draw the human figure and immerse yourself in a world of glitz and glamor. Study anatomy and gesture as you draw from live models, and then learn about color, texture, and pattern to add a stylish touch to your art. Be inspired by the shimmering fashion in Solid Gold and design your own costumes that express your bold ideas.
On-site parking is available in the lot behind the Museum, off Washington Avenue. After the free 15-minute drop-off period, the hourly rate applies.
