We are open today from 11 am to 6 pm.

ArtXchange

Join a vibrant community of K–12 visual art educators from all around the city in a program designed to bolster each other’s teaching practices. ArtXchange is a forum for art teachers to share and explore ideas about teaching, make art, and learn from contemporary artists. Over the course of five sessions, participants cultivate a supportive professional community, deepen their studio practice, and explore the intersections of art, education, and cultural equity.

ArtXchange is an opportunity to change your teaching practice forever. But don’t take it from us—check out what past participants had to say about the program.

By applying for the ArtXchange program, you are required to:

  • Attend all five ArtXchange sessions (in person)
  • Visit the Museum with a class at least once during the school year (contingent on health and safety protocols)
  • Exchange ideas about arts education in an open and supportive environment

Applications are now open! Applications are due Friday, November 20, 2023. Priority will be given to NYC public school teachers.

ArtXchange is made possible by the Emily Davie and Joseph S. Kornfeld Foundation.
