Blind individuals and those with low vision are invited to experience Consuelo Kanaga: Catch the Spirit in a vivid verbal description tour. Kanaga employed a powerful visual language in her black-and-white photography to provoke thought and foster empathy. As she put it, “Most people try to be striking to catch the eye. I think the thing is not to catch the eye but the spirit.”
