This panel explores how Japanese artists have created a market for their work that is both Japanese and international. The discussion includes Adam Kern , author of Manga from the Floating World: Comicbook Culture and the Kibyoshi of Edo Japan; Miwako Tezuka, Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art, the Asia Society ; Ikumi Kaminishi , Associate Professor of Art History and Coordinator of Asian Studies Program at Tufts University; and artist Aiko Nakagawa .
