Intern Convening 2023

Calling all NYC interns and emerging professionals in the arts! Join Brooklyn Museum interns for a full day of in-person programming at our third annual Intern Convening. Our intern leaders will converse with arts professionals about museums’ role in expanding perspectives and engaging diverse audiences. Also hear how those at the beginning of their careers can help shape the field. Interns, emerging and midcareer professionals, and anyone interested in the field are welcome to join!

The first half of the day will focus on the Museum’s living Land Acknowledgment and the importance of Indigenous perspectives, sovereignty, and artistic production. The afternoon will provide networking and career development opportunities with our intern alumni as well as professionals from the Brooklyn Museum and other New York arts institutions.
