Footed bowl, pewter. Hollow pedestal consists of round, slightly domed base with molded bands, tapers to narrow shaft, then flares out to molded step. Pedestal supports and is soldered to round bowl (appears continuous on exterior); bowl has straight sides and slightly flared lip. Incised line rings exterior of bowl about 1/8" below top edge.
CONDITION: Fair; all-over pock marks and scratches; top edge not level and opening of bowl is misshapen; ding in side of bowl; spots of dark discoloration or corrosion, especially around base of pedestal and interior of bowl. |
