Description |
Table clock. Wood (stained and painted), printed paper, glass, and metal. Original electrical wiring. Round wooden body, decorated with twelve incised radiating lines, sits on a black rectangular wooden base with convex front. Clock face of printed cream paper has a large gray circle at center; set behind glass. Surrounding center circle are radiating dots of two sizes; larger circles replace hours and smaller dots represent minutes. Narrow, red, straight, second hand. Black triangular hour and minute hands. Back of clock undecorated. Three dials and patent numbers on back.
CONDITION: Good; paper dial yellowed, wooden body over-cleaned, front is lacking varnish; black base repainted; on back (near proper left bottom screw) wood has split and broken off. |
