Description |
Small square wooden box with exterior overlay of brass and with copper lid with enamel polychrome decoration. Small wood (cherry?) box, the exterior with conforming thin, horizontal brass panels. Copper lid attached with two small hidden horizontal hinges at interior; exterior of lid with dark green enamel glaze with underglaze decoration in brown and green of abstracted flora and tree design, with three small areas of randomly placed various size dots in white and red enamel toward center of lid. Underside of box has applied conforming brown felt or baize material.
Condition: Good, with small square of wood in inside of box. |
