Description Creamer or butter boat: Silver. Rounded oval body with long spout coming to rounded point. Rim of body is bordered by a die-rollled band of floral decoration which tapers away at spout. C-shaped cast handle has modified acanthus ornament at thumbpiece, trifurcated scroll at lower juncture. Three applied, cabriole feet comprise heavily chased acanthus knee at juncture with body and hairy paw foot resting on hollow flattened ball. Condition: Normal wear to surfaces. Foot under spout bent backward and probably repaired.
