Catalogue Description:
Cypress glazed Dutch earthenware tiles, leather thongs. Art moderne style. Rectangular top with frame effect: a group of iridescent blue tiles set within beveled frame, washed in gold and blue, is visually supported within outer frame by means of a mesh of woven leather thongs. Four saber-type legs, tapering and square in section support the frames at each corner. Condition: Good. One of tiles cracked diagonally in two places; legs somewhat scuffed.
