Catalogue Description:
Gold fragment, the upper and lower borders of which are curved upward. The design consists of a winged sphinx striding behind a winged lion. The lion faces a 9 petaled palmette tree. The tree is flanked by a lion on the left also facing the tree. The upper border is a guilloche pattern, the lower border plain. Part of another register of design is preserved below this one. Condition: Cracked in half along wing of lion.
