Catalogue Description:
Standing wooden highly stylized figure with a crested headdress and large shell-like ear ornaments. Body is a series of flattened twisted shapes. Eyes are circles painted white, sharp nose pierced horizontally, small mouth open. Incised facial marks and cross hatch hair pattern. Modern black wood base. CONDITION: Good. Dry, aged patina, old chips and abrasions. Left leg broken off and reglued. White paint missing off left earpiece.
