Catalogue Description:
Small bronze Horus-Hawk head inlaid with gold. Condition: The piece appears to be of outstanding quality but is in sadly damaged condition though apparently intact. Most of the object, in particular the face, is covered with heavy dark green corrosion with numerous spots of light green. The details of the face have suffered considerably and some of the gold inlay is doubtless lost.
