Catalogue Description: Small limestone figure of a monkey playing a harp. He is squatting on the ground with a harp directly in front of him, a position frequently found in Theban tomb paintings of which this may well be a caricature. The strings of the harp were indicated in orange-red as was the flesh of the monkey with other details in black. Extensive traces of color still remain. Condition: Surface worn.
