Catalogue Description: Pottery vase made in a mould in two pieces joined at the sides. The neck and upper part of the body have a conventionalized foliate design suggestive of Coptic (Late Antique) work. The lower part of the body is divided into panels by columns which are a version of the Ionic order. Between each set of columns is the figure of the god Bes. Condition: Entire lower part of the vase missing, large fragment of the upper part missing. Considerable incrustation on one side.
