Catalogue Description:
Highly polished pewter porringer; round bowl rises from flat bottom to squat, bulging body with flaring lip. Flat, triangular handle soldered to side is decorated with a crown, curving foliate designs, and openwork. CONDITION: Good; overall scratches and pitting; deep pit marks, especially on inside bottom and handle; large gouge (manufacturing imperfection?) around edge of underside.
