Catalogue Description:
Black steatite head of a man from a statuette. Face modeled in Hellenistic style with short, full mouth, furrows in forehead eyes originally inlaid. Short, full hair with narrow band or diadem, long neck. A portrait and of fine quality. Condition: Preserved portion intact. Inlays of eyes lost.
