Catalogue Description: Hoop drum stick that is wrapped with thin rawhide that may once have been covered with fur. The handle is a very simple carved wooden stick, slightly wider at the top and bottom and narrower at the center where it would be gripped as a handle. The drum stick may have been steamed or soaked into shape.
