Catalogue Description: Head of an old man. Probably of limestone. At the back runs the usual inscribed pillar. The entire piece was covered with a coating of elaborately painted plaster extensive traces of which remain behind the ears and on the pillar. The inscription reads “the King is making an offering to the double of ---.” The piece shows great naturalism, the surface is chipped and weathered.
