Catalogue Description:
Bone carving. Part of the decoration of a casket. Fragment of a bone carving showing a figure representing a wind with a flying veil. Style of carving is simple, the arms and legs are exaggeratedly long, and extend towards the right, at right-angles to the body. The head and torso may be ancient, but the arm and legs appear to be modern forgery. There is a deep crack at the left.
