Catalogue Description:
Textile fragment, trapezoidal in shape and decorated with red diamonds and other geometrical designs on a beige ground. The bottom is decorated with a horizontal tapestry weave band with stepped frets in red, green, brown, yellow, blue, and black. Condition: good. Size: adult or undetermined. Probable wearer: male or undetermined. Vertical cotton warp. Cotton and camelid fiber weft. Field: warp-faced plain weave. End: camelid fiber supplementary weft float pattern (reversible). Border: camelid fiber tapestry with interlock. Embellishment: crossed looping.
