Catalogue Description: Bronze applique of a walking lion. Body in profile, head frontal in high relief, tail curved upwards. Tang for attachment on top of head and (originally) one under each foot. Thin casting. Lion faces (spectator’s) right. Probably a representation of lion-god Mahes. Condition: Paw of front leg missing. Two feet cracked and repaired. Tang under rear foot broken.
