Catalogue Description:
Pewter lamp; base consists of round disk with depression on top; narrow, tapering shaft rises from center. Looped strap handle soldered to shaft. Shaft flares out and continues into oil reservoir. Reservoir of general cylindrical form that tapers toward top, has short neck (threaded on inside) and round opening; body of reservoir decorated with incised bands. Round flat cap with two metal feed tubes projecting through it screws into mouth of reservoir. CONDITION: Good; overall tarnish and pitting; large spots of discoloration or corrosion, especially on bottom of reservoir and on top and bottom sides of base; dent in side of base; handle and cap heavily pitted; feed tubes corroded, especially on inside.
