Catalogue Description: Tripod bowl with solid triangular legs and slightly incurved sides. The exterior of the vessel is decorated with a modeled appliqué animal head and a wide decorative band bordered top and bottom by horizontal parallel lines with engraved geometrical designs consisting of vertical lines; a checkerboard pattern of alternately crosshatched squares; and vertical zigzag forms. The incised lines are filled with white pigment. The ceramic style is Castillo Incised/Engraved. Condition: good; the rim is slightly abraded and the bottom of one leg is broken.
