Catalogue Description:
Watercolor of six Borgia Codex-style figures, one of which looks like it is swimming in a pool of water (the central figure). Colors are red, blue, yellow, grey and black, and the figures are outlined in black. This is probably a reproduction of one of the altar frescoes at the Tlaxcalan site of Tizatlán in Tlaxcala, Mexico. Condition: Fair; losses, tears and stains along the edges.
