Catalogue Description:
Semilunate box for red camwood powder (tukula). The cover is decorated with two ridges echoing its curved edge. Four short straight ridges radiate from the center to the straight edge. The rest of the cover is embellished with mixed geometric motifs, as are the sides of the box bottom. Condition: Good, but well used, with much surface detail worn away. Polished to a deep brown patina.
