Catalogue Description:
Headdress of cowrie shells and blue and white beads sewn to a raffia-hide backing. The top is a cone-like configuration with three pendant tassels. There are two chin bands. There is a wide semi-circular shelf extending from the sides around the back. Condition: very good. One pendant tassel broken off, a few missing cowries, and a hole in raffia at left side.
