Catalogue Description:
Circular wooden stool and pedestal base. Base has strong bulbous center. Top edge of seat is decorated with two bands of brass studs. A triangular shape cut through the top is used for carrying; triangular grooves cut out from its bottom edge are for decoration. The bulbous center of the pedestal has deep, cutout, elliptical-shaped crevices. The foot flares and has three, carefully cut, linear elements on each side, following the direction of the flare. Condition: Good, some deep checks on one section of foot. A few brass tacks missing.
