Catalogue Description: "Coconut" Chair. Triangle-shaped fiberglass body bent into cupped form to support human body (with one point at top, other two points at ends of "arms"); cushioned and upholstered in olive-green colored leather. Chair supported by three splayed tubular aluminum legs (two at front, one in back), legs terminate in rounded disk foot on rubber pad. Two narrower tubular stretchers connect each leg to chair at midpoint between legs on bottom of chair, attached with screws. CONDITION: Fair; numerous small tears and gouges in leather, especially along front edge. Leather upholstery coming detached from body at underside in front. Legs have scratches, pockmarks and tarnish; stretchers are badly rusted.
