Catalogue Description:
Technique: basketry. Basketry shield, edge bound with reed wooden handle. Design woven in black and brown. Geometric design woven in, two round front ribs. Top layer: horizontal orientation, lower layer: vertical. Two stabilizing elements running down middle, single piece of reed; ratan? wrapped with narrow fiber stripes. Condition: handle worn, otherwise fair.
