Catalogue Description:
Low desk with four legs and four drawers, made for use when seated on the floor. The desk has a top that curves up at both short ends and distinctive highly decorative carved legs in a form known as "tiger's leg." the sides and drawer fronts are decorated with stylized cloud patterns carved in low relief. The joins and corners are supported by brass bands, the drawers have brass ring pulls, and a large brass plate serves as an escutcheon for a latching mechanism and key.
