Catalogue Description: Continuous composition stretching across ten panels, depicting a distant birds-eye view of a royal procession travelling across a hilly landscape. The image is depicted primarily in ink with highlights of color. Large groups of military and other officials on horseback and on foot, many carrying banners, traveling from right to left across composition, arriving at town in left panels. The landscape is depicted as largely open, with occasional wild animals and small trees, a river at the foreground and taller mountains in the distance.
