Catalogue Description: Large jar with straight neck, swelling shoulders, and smaller flat foot. Entire body of jar painted in blue with large figures of animals and landscape forms, all associated with the traditional Korean emblems of longevity. Most notable are a spotted deer and a flying crane, but also present are the pine tree, rock, water, clouds, sun, bamboo, and longevity fungus. All are painted in loose strokes of watery blue. The neck is painted with a simple scrolling plant motif, with a cloud collar marking the transition from neck to body.
