Catalogue Description:
A representation of a lion-headed god who wears a tripartite wig painted blue, Atef-crown painted red and yellow, and a kilt similar to that worn by the Hawk-headed god. This god also holds an Ankh-sign and Was-scepter but here the scepter does not have the two prongs at the bottom. There are two horizontal red bands represented. One of them is above the figure and the other runs beneath his feet. The god’s skin is painted a red-orange; his face and collar are yellow. The body is outlined in black and black is also used to indicate many of the details. Condition: Much of the headdress has been lost and a small section of the kilt is missing.
