Catalogue Description:
"Contempri Design, Eclipse Pattern." White bodied, semi-porcelain high-necked coffeepot (a) with vitreous glaze and transfer-printed decoration; and lid (b). From round, flat bottom, coffeepot rises to low curved shoulder, collar tapers inward then rises into long cylindrical neck that ends in a flat top with flared lip. Curved handle attached at shoulder and top portion of neck; long opposing spout attached at collar, tapers upward to narrow opening then flares out at mouth. Two identical bands of transfer-printed decoration encircle neck below handle; bands consist of upright rectangles with concave sides in alternating blue and green. Lid is cylindrical form, which flares outward as it rises to flat, circular top (lid is trumpet shaped). CONDITION: Good; tiny flecks in glaze all over body and in decorative bands.
