Catalogue Description:
Large reddish-brown gourd with incised designs that are white: on one side is a ship, circles filled with eight lines - others filled with four triangles, and bands with cross-hatch design. The top opening has been stuffed with a hardened substance to form a stopper. Condition: good, some dark staining on neck and checking; checking also on body.
