Catalogue Description:
Plaque in shape of large shallow bowl with hammered interior surface and applied castings of birds in a tree. This sculptural group consists of a curving branch with leaves and blossoms, a small nest with bird along the bottom edge, and another bird with outstretched wings perched above; attached with screws to plaque. Plaque intended to be hung on wall. Condition: Good; there appear to be two repaired (soldered) breaks on branches; some scratches around interior of bowl; missing screw on back.
