Catalogue Description:
A cup with a round thick-walled body that is almost spherical as it curves inward at the rim. A very thick handle with a circular section spans the diameter of the pot. The body has two wide bands with segments of a herringbone or chevron pattern that wrap over the rim and descend slightly into the interior of the bowl. The handle has a series of thick diagonal hatchings painted on each side and a band of irregular circles on the top.
