Catalogue Description:
Tin lithographed 'Superior Mouseketeer Television' with attached lid and interior turntable and stylus. Toy front lithographed to resemble a TV set into a cabinet, center opening with silver colored backing and an attached bulb; to one side a metal knob. Sides of toy: one side lithographed with Disney's Donald Duck carrying a large drum with Mickey Mouse's face, opposing side, with Disney's Mickey Mouse dressed as a marching band leader with baton. Attached lid with image of Disney's Mickey and Minnie mouse holding hands with young blond girl in plaid skirt and bobbysocks and young blond boy in striped shirt and pants. Interior: with record turntable and stylus, open back and attached electrical cord. Mechanism would have worked with conforming Disney themed paper being placed over bulb at TV front and while record was being played on turnstile, by turning the knob at front it would appear as if Disney cartoon was playing. Records and paper are absent. The whole on four small black tapered legs.
