Catalogue Description:
Plucked idiophone made of wood. Polished. Resonating chamber is hollow and rectangular in shape. The bridge on the anterior surface holds nine metal keys attached by rattan fiber. A round sounding hole is found on the posterior surface. On the top end there is a rectangular indentation which encases a metal cord with metal vibrating tubes wrapped around it. CONDITION: Wood is scratched and worn. Wood underneath the bridge and keys is corroding.
