Catalogue Description:
Purple, wooden Louis XVI-style oval chair back with floral and acanthus leaf carved decoration at crest, back inset with metal mesh; gadrooning on outer rim of front, columnar downward tapering fluted back legs, slightly bulbous sabot. Flat trapezoidal metal seat that flares toward front, welded squared continual legs and stretcher at ground level. Seat attached at back with four exposed screws. Condition: new/ unused.
