Catalogue Description: (a) ivory bodied, elongated octangle shape, aesthetic style design transfer printed in brown. Alternating dark brown and light brown checkerboard pattern at rim. Smaller central panel overall repeated floral design : yellow flowers with green leaves against dark brown ground; two larger flanking side panels with: abstract fan, lower third of which highlighted in orange and floral design with red petals and green oak leaves against a background of regularly interspersed three dot pattern in brown. Applied, flattened, upward flaring hexagonal handles with leaf decoration highlighted in gold. (b) domed lid with overall repeat of pattern from body, central section of lid ribbed and gilded; flattened scroll handle, highlighted in gold. Condition: (a) overall light crazing in interior and two small manufacturing flaws. (b) overall light crazing on underside.
