Catalogue Description:
Small bronze figure of a shrew mouse standing on an oblong plinth with broken dowel on underside, probably from a receptacle for a mummified shrew. Condition: Numerous spots of light green incrustation; object was obviously cleaned previously probably at about the time of its purchased. Cast solid; dowel broken; traces of incised decoration on back. Good workmanship.
