Catalogue Description:
Hanging bell in the shape of a stupa (but not necessarily Buddhist), domed and decorated with a motif of hanging garlands, with lotus petals at the bottom and on the finial, which is topped by a large figure of Nandi, the bull companion of the Hindu god Shiva. The loop from which the bell hangs emerged from the bull's back. Arrived with chain and large hook.
