Catalogue Description:
Miniature stone lingam (phallic emblem of the Hindu god Shiva) with the upper part of four Shiva figures depicted in high relief on each side. The lingam shows signs of wear, suggesting that it has been worshipped repeatedly (with annointment and poured offerings, likely originally inserted into a yoni-shaped altar base in a home shrine.
