Catalogue Description: Rectangular colorless plastic box with turquoise green felted cardboard insert. Box is two halves joined with molded ball and socket hinges in back and two molded tab closures at front. Box has rounded edges and corners. On top of box printed in white is "COLUMNESQUE / IN SOLID SILVER BY TOWLE." The top also has a small rectangular paper tag affixed to it with "$35.95" printed on it, (not clear if this is original or a resale price tag.) Felted cardboard insert is a conforming rectangular box with four holes on its top through which related salt and pepper shakers, 2004.72.7a-b-10a-b, may be placed. Condition: Fair. Box has small cracks at one hinge and a larger crack running from the other hinge to the top corner closest to it. This corner is damaged and has two additional cracks radiating from it. Paper insert good.
