Catalogue Description: Footed Tray or Waiter: Silver, circular tray with shallow, concave bouge and flat, flaring rim ornamented on its edge by cast, applied, interwoven cat tails and leaves. Tray sits on three cast, applied feet with scrolled toes, opposing C-scrolls above and C-scrolls at each side of juncture with tray. Center of tray engraved with a shield with a field of horizontal lines on which are three stars above a crown, above a crowned lamb passant; shield is surmounted by a crest of a profile helmet facing left, a bar and a fleur de lis. Shield is surrounded by a wreath of engraved rococo-style scrolling foliate ornament. Engraved on back of tray in script monagram: HOLR CONDITION - Normal wear and scratches. Slight dents where tray joins bouge between 10:00 and 11:00.
