Catalogue Description: Proportionately tall and narrow vessel with a small lip that becomes slightly bulbous towards the bottom that is flat. Portion of top section including lip is pale orange and unburnished; remaining surface is burnt sienna and burnished. Five concentric incised lines pass down pale orange area; one similar concentric line passes through and circumscribes upper part of burnished surface. Pot is in good condition. Some surface wear. Small section of lip repaired. Intentionally made dark area (2 x 2 1/2 in.) made from smoke on side--the effect of an oxygen reduced atmosphere that is proof of vessel's thermal strength. One small smoke-colored gauge (1/4 x 1/8 in.).
