Catalogue Description:
Creamer: Porcelain spherical shaped body, flattened at base and articulated at rim with semi-circular depressions between curved spout and upward stretching handle juncture. Handle raises above body and descends in whiplash double curve to lower juncture. Lower section of body is reeded to one-third height under spout and two-thirds height under handle. Reeds are ornamented with blue-gray chevrons. Above reeding, ground is pale pink with scrolling vines and leafage in dark red with gilt and dark brown highlights and blue-gray shadows. At rim is a dark red band with raised gilt, irregular ornament. Rim and handle are gilded, interior is pale pink. CONDITION - Slight wear to gilding near lower handle juncture. Pinhead loss to gilding on rim of left of upper handle juncture.
