Catalogue Description:
Elongated mask with a slightly protruding almond-shaped eyes with horizontal slit openings at center. Squarish nose with nostrils (not completely pierced). Rectangular mouth (W: 1 1/2 x H: 1/2 in.) slightly protruding and completely pierced. Pigment residue: light colored, scattered all over front with a darker orange pigment residue concentrated on forehead, brow and PL side of nose. Some light colored material residue on inside of mask, which has a rough adzed surface. 2 small holes on periphery slightly above eye level. CONDITION: Overall surface dirt. Some insect damage (small holes). Cracking especially severe at lower chin. Wood loss along lower edge. Metal mount.
